This fabric is coming across as more of a summer fabric at the moment probably because of the lightweight drapyness and bright cheerful colours but it doesn't actually have much warmth so it is going to need to be over or incorperated in with something much warmer eg a merino knit.. possible a pink merino knit...
... ta dah! pink merino double knit. i also thought that this fabric looked interesting when held up to the light as it appears quite see though but when it is held agaisnt the body you dont see the delicateness of the weave, so i though i would pull some of the threads out and create a looser weave still amd am really pleased with the result. went for a slightly random pattern to give it a little bit of interesting detail.
And when it is placed on top of the pink merino it highlights the weave pattern and shows the pink through...
Drapeing the two together.
I've combined some of the previous concepts for this fabric using the basic almost rectangle shape and have domes attached on a tape to give the freedom of A. being able to get into it as it is a loose weave but doesn't stretch, and B. also giving a little bit of flexibility in terms of how to wear it.
Eg the domes have been place on opposite sides of the front and back as well as opposite sides left to right so that you can have the option of have the snaps together in a halter neck style. Or have the lower snap section over the arm or under the arm. different style different day
